No stars is not an option so I had to give them at least one star. I first want to say that the salesman we dealt with initially was outstanding in every way. We went through the TrueCar auto buyer service offered by Schools First. We called the dealership in advance and made an appointment. We also intended to trade in two vehicles so my husband and I drove in separately. While we were about to leave for our test drive another buyer came in. While we were on our test drive the Sales Manager, Scott Conner sold the vehicle. He was fully aware that we were there to make a purchase and that we had an appointment (otherwise we would not have driven our trade-ins all the way to Newport). If this is standard practice in the industry so be it, but I think buyers should be well aware that this how how Audi Newport Beach operates. You have so many options when you purchase a car these days, I can't for the life of me understand why you would go to a dealership with this low level of integrity and poor standards of customer service. Ultimately we are glad we did not make a purchase through a dealership that operates this way, but my heart goes out to the salesman that was in the process of completing our transaction. It should have been his sale. I will of course be contacting Schools First to let them know how we were treated as they pride themselves on providing excellent customer service to their members. I will also post about our experience on all available social media outlets.
