The Spa At Pelican Hill at 22701 South Pelican Hill Road, Newport Coast, Newport Beach, California.

We had a couples massage and were really disappointed. There are no co-ed facilities. No hydrotherapy, no sauna, no spa, no patio..nothing you can do together except for be massaged in the same room. Your spa access doesn't include pool access either. We could've done a hike or gone to the fitness center, but it was lackluster. When I complained I was given a pool access coupon...at 4pm. The sun was already going down and it was only valid that day. While the supervisor stepped in and offered to honor it another day, I don't know if we will be back. The hostess at the pool view restaurant was rude and one of the male employees was talking about other patrons clothes, eyebrows and plastic surgery. In all, we did not feel welcomed.

As a point of clarification, the actual massage therapists were fantastic. Also, you can purchase a package with a 2 hour block in the room and do a couples bath plus massage. It will just set you back about $900.
